Oliver Bush
Director
Hi I’m Oliver Bush and I’m a Director here at Grapevine.
I come from a sporting background where I dedicated most my younger of years, up till the age of 18, playing badminton for England where at my peak I achieved a Bronze medal at a European Junior Men’s tournament and various gold medals at national level. From there I moved into being a personal trainer, as I was keen to work in the sporting industry. I realised very quickly that while I enjoyed the role it was the interaction with the general public that I thrived on. Years ago an opportunity arose for an estate agent negotiator role and since then I’ve always worked within Estate Agency, working in offices in various areas — including Twyford, Earley and Lower Earley. Although I believe in the core traditional values of Estate Agency, which includes achieving the best possible price for my client’s home and exceptional customer service, Estate Agency as we know it, is changing. Adam and I are leading the way in that change, with a modern and fresh approach to advertising, as well as embracing new technology.
I believe in fairness, honesty and transparency and that is exactly what you’ll get from me as a person and from the company.
Not only will we give you the best kind of advertising, achieve the best possible price for your home and offer a great level of customer service, we will do it ALL with a smile.

Scott Marlin
Director
Hi, I’m Scott and I am a director of Grapevine Estate agents.
I have worked as an estate agent in Reading and the surrounding areas since 1998 and built an excellent reputation, I’d like to think during that time I have acquired enough knowledge and experience to give all our clients the very best service in all forms of the business! People can think that selling a house is easy, in some cases it is but there is much more to it than that if you want to sell at the highest price to the best buyer. I have always taken a patient strategic approach to selling property, in most cases there are no prizes for selling the quickest, it can cost you thousands of pounds on your sale price by not giving the whole market a chance to look at and offer on your house.
Outside of work I am a keen runner, golfer and fisherman, doing all of them regularly though is a tough one! I am also a long term supporter of Reading FC for my sins and try to get to as many games as I can. At home I have a lovely wife and a daughter who is currently at primary school. We enjoy country walks, nice pubs, going to the park and socialising with friends.
I like to take a very mobile approach to estate agency, you can find me on the phone, email, whatsapp or messenger wherever I am in and outside of normal working hours.

Holly Watson
Lettings Property Manager
Hi, I’m Holly Watson, Lettings Property Manager at Grapevine Estate Agents.
I look after all aspects of our lettings portfolio—from managing properties and liaising with landlords and tenants, to ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. I’m passionate about providing a seamless, friendly, and professional experience for everyone involved.
I grew up in the RG10 area and went to The Piggott School, where I studied Photography at A Level. Alongside school, I trained extensively in dance—ballet, tap, modern, and drama—competing in London and later teaching classes in Twyford and the surrounding area. In 2013, I even appeared as an extra in the TV show Big School alongside David Walliams and Catherine Tate.
Before joining Grapevine in 2019, I worked for five years at Waitrose in Twyford as a Food Service Team Leader, which really shaped my passion for great customer service. That’s something I bring to my role every day—I always go the extra mile to make sure our landlords and tenants feel supported and well looked after.

Saurav Ghosh
Negotiator
Hi, I’m Saurav.
I’ve worked part-time in estate agency for several years now, and it’s a role I’ve grown to genuinely love. What draws me in the most is the constant interaction with people—helping clients at different stages of their property journey, and getting to explore the incredible variety of homes across the area. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what makes this industry so exciting.
In addition to my role in estate agency, I’m also a landlord, which gives me a strong understanding of both the sales and lettings markets from a hands-on perspective. I know the challenges and opportunities that come with owning property, and I’m always happy to share that knowledge and answer any questions you might have—whether you’re buying, selling, renting, or investing.
I pride myself on being approachable, honest, and committed to delivering a great experience for every client I meet. I look forward to helping you navigate your next move, and hopefully showing you around a few fantastic properties very soon!

Adam Shaw
Director
Hi, I’m Adam Shaw, Director at Grapevine Estate Agents.
I head up all things marketing, social media, and branding—basically, it’s my job to make sure your home gets the attention it deserves. I’m always thinking of fresh, creative ways to showcase our properties and keep our marketing one step ahead of the curve.
With over 20 years in estate agency—starting as a trainee and working my way up to Branch Manager—I know the industry inside out. I’ve also lived and worked in the RG10 area for nearly two decades, so I know exactly what makes this part of the world such a great place to call home.
On top of marketing, I also personally handle all our sales progression. Once your property is under offer, the real work often begins. I stay in close contact with solicitors, buyers, and sellers to make sure everything keeps moving and that you’re always kept in the loop—because a smooth, stress-free sale is what we’re all about.
At Grapevine, we set out to do things differently. We built our agency around a simple promise: to offer the very best marketing, photography, and customer service—without compromise, and all at a fair price.
I’m passionate about delivering a five-star experience and making sure you feel supported from start to finish. If you ever fancy a chat or need some advice, just give us a call—I’m always happy to help.

Haydon Canavan
Negotiator
Hi, I’m Haydon, a Sales Negotiator here at Grapevine Estate Agents.
I genuinely love what I do—I’m a true people person, and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on someone’s face. Whether it’s that first conversation over the phone or showing someone around a property that could become their dream home, every moment of the journey fills me with joy.
Before joining the world of estate agency, I spent eight years in hospitality, working both as a chef and a front-of-house supervisor. That background gave me a strong foundation in customer service, and transitioning into estate agency has been the best decision I’ve made. I’ve always thrived in roles where I can connect with people, and now I get to turn that passion into helping clients find the perfect place to call home.
Outside of work, I’ve always lived an active lifestyle. I competed in British gymnastics competitions as a child and even earned a bronze medal at age 10. These days, I keep that spirit alive by training in Muay Thai and regularly hitting the gym.
I’m driven, passionate, and hungry to grow in this industry. My goal is simple: to help as many people as I can while constantly improving and evolving in my career.

Alice Hassall
Negotiator
Hi, I’m Alice, and I’ve been working in the estate agency industry for over eight years. During this time, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the property market and built strong relationships with clients, many of whom have shared really positive feedback about their experiences working with me — something I’m incredibly proud of.
I’m also a proud local, having lived in Reading for many years, which gives me first-hand knowledge of the area, its neighbourhoods, and what makes each corner of the town special. Whether you’re buying, selling, or just seeking some friendly property advice, I’m always happy to help.
Oh, and one more thing — I’m a loyal Reading FC supporter! So when the opportunity came up to join the team here, it felt like the perfect match.

Andy Smith
Inventory clerk
After running my own estate agency for over 20 years, I now focus on producing detailed and impartial inventory reports to help ensure smooth tenancies for both landlords and tenants. I take pride in being thorough and fair—it’s all about making things clear and avoiding unnecessary disputes.
Outside of work, I’m actively involved with the Samaritans, something I find incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s in property or volunteering, I enjoy being someone people can rely on.
